This list won't include all the trips we'll do this summer and fall. Our shorter trips happen daily throughout the summer. Our camping trips include guides, excellent meals, all camping equipment, transportation, fees, etc. At any given time we have several used boats for sale. We also carry the most complete selection of maps and charts available of our coast and coastal rivers, and a full selection of kayaks, paddling gear and camping gear. Full Moon paddles every month.

        Ferry over day one, go straight to Blackbeard by kayak for a day hike, tour Sapelo the next day and catch the evening ferry home. We stay indoors in the community of Hog Hammock on Sapelo.

        Kayak to the remote north end of Georgia's largest barrier island via the most sheltered route and camp in the least visited campsite on the island. Day hike past the now famous church and out to the beach on the middle day.

        We stay indoors in the unique community of Hog Hammock on Sapelo. We take the ferry over and spend the middle day kayaking through a sheltered river to Blackbeard Island upon which we take a day hike along one of the remotest stretches of beach on the east coast. We usually have a huge southern dinner catered in the community tonight. Our third day is spent sightseeing on Sapelo, visiting the R. J. Reynolds mansion, the lighthouse and other significant places including of course, the beach. 4-6 persons max. unless a custom trip.

A Little More Info-------- October 26-28, 2001: Sapelo Island Photo Safari Experience the beauty and culture of Sapelo Island while learning, or just practicing, the art of photography. Award-winning local photographer Randall Hollis provides instruction and advice for all skill levels as you explore this remote area by foot, vehicle, and kayak! This trip is perfect for anyone interested in photography, kayaking, Gullah culture and nature. The price includes ferry fees, transportation on Sapelo, in-door accommodations in the historic community of Hog Hammock, all meals, photo instruction, and a kayak trip to Blackbeard Island National Wildlife Refuge. $450

December 14-16, 2001: Kayaking-Camping-Yoga! All Women’s Trip 3 days paddling the beautiful black water of the Satilla River in sea kayaks. The Satilla is a calm, winding river that originates near Waycross in South Georgia and empties out into the Atlantic just south of Jekyll Island. The stretch of river we will be paddling (~40 miles) has a calm, steady current and numerous soft sandbars perfect for sleeping under the stars! An hour in the morning and the late afternoon will be set aside for superb yoga instruction from Sabine Vera owner of Elysian Fields yoga studio on St. Simons. All meals, paddling gear, and camping equipment are provided. Paddlers of all levels are warmly welcome. $350

December 18-20, 2001: Christmas Spirit Paddles In the spirit of Christmas we will be offering free 2-hour sunset paddles on each of these evenings. A food donation for needy pets or people is requested and will be distributed by SouthEast Adventure to appropriate charities. Come join us for a jolly paddle (and Christmas carols?) in the marsh! FREE
